The Office Manager serves as the individual responsible for the daily management and procedural oversight of the Office of Counseling Services.
Work Location: Virginia Beach, VA
Essential duties:
Assist the Director/Assistant Director of Counseling Services with administrative tasks necessary for daily operation of office
Participate in data tracking
Coordinate and/or manage staff calendars including client scheduling
Assist in coordination of projects and events
Process all new requests for counseling
Schedule all screening and intake appointments according to office procedures and guidelines
Assist with case management
Purchasing, inventory, and supply management
Monthly expense reporting
Coordinate office sharing
Ensure office is open and closed at appropriate times each day
Greet and check in clients and/or visitors to Counseling Services offices
Ensure hospitality station is maintained daily
Coordinate psychiatric services
Qualifications:
High School Diploma is required. Bachelor's Degree is preferred
Must have demonstrated experience working in a counseling or other professional medical setting; excellent written, interpersonal, and communication skills; advanced organization abilities; Proficient in Microsoft Office (advanced skills preferred in Outlook, Word, and Excel); Bachelor's Degree may be substituted for required skills/experience
