Position Summary Under general supervision, the Office Clerk supports warehouse operations by ensuring smooth and accurate order flow. This role coordinates order scanning, assignment, and tracking activities; supports Will Call processing; and provides administrative assistance to ensure efficient order fulfillment and customer service.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities The following duties are typical of those performed by employees in this job title; however, employees may perform other related duties, and not all duties listed are necessarily performed by each employee in the job title:
Scan and assign customer orders for warehouse picking
Process and assign Will Call orders for timely customer pickup
Manifest truck deliveries, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate
Perform order lookups and provide order status information as needed
Process and assign cut and shearing orders
Utilize the order dashboard to assign work to handheld scanning devices
Provide strong phone and in-person customer service
Communicate proactively with internal teams regarding order issues, delays, or corrections
Support smooth interaction between warehouse staff and customers
Assist with clerical tasks related to order management, documentation, and data entry
Use designated software programs to support warehouse and sales operations
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support department and organizational needs

Education
High School diploma preferred
Experience/Skills/Abilities Required
Minimum of 2 years of clerical, administrative or customer service experience
Experience in transportation, logistics, dispatch, or administrative support preferred but not required
Strong communication and customer service skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Strong analytical problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
Ability to learn, navigate and use designated software programs as required to perform job functions
Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Ability to interact professionally and positively with others within the department and organization
Work Environment/Physical Demands Typical office environment – moderate noise level. This position regularly requires standing; walking; sitting; use hands; reaching with hands and arms; and talking and/or hearing. Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
