Description

Careerscape is recruiting on behalf of our client for an entry-level Office Assistant to support day-to-day administrative operations in a fully remote capacity. Day to day, you will juggle a mix of scheduling, correspondence, data entry, and general office support, often shifting between tasks as priorities change. Responsibilities

  • Answer and route phone calls and emails in a professional manner
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and calendars
  • Maintain and organize digital files and records
  • Enter and update data in company systems and spreadsheets
  • Prepare and format documents, memos, and reports
  • Order and track office supplies and vendor invoices
  • Assist with onboarding paperwork for new hires
  • Support team members with ad hoc administrative requests
  • Monitor shared inboxes and follow up on outstanding items
  • Help coordinate virtual meetings and take meeting notes

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred
  • Prior internship or administrative experience is a plus but not required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently
  • Comfortable working in a remote, self-directed environment
  • Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet home workspace
  • Positive, professional attitude and strong customer service mindset
