Legal Executive Assistant – Litigation
Pay: $25–$50 per hour (DOE) Job Type: Full-Time; Temp-to-Hire Schedule: Onsite, 5 days per week Practice Area: Litigation
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Legal Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative and strategic support to a senior Litigation Partner. This role is ideal for a proactive, adaptable professional with strong litigation knowledge, proven travel coordination experience, and the ability to support paralegals as needed in a fast-paced law firm environment.
In simple terms: You'll help a senior attorney by organizing their schedule, coordinating travel, resolving basic IT issues, and pitching in with legal support when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level, strategic administrative support to a senior Litigation Partner
- Coordinate complex calendars, meetings, and domestic/international travel
- Manage day-to-day logistics, scheduling priorities, and expense tracking
- Anticipate needs and adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Assist paralegals with legal and litigation-related tasks as needed
- Troubleshoot basic IT and technical issues independently
- Maintain professionalism, discretion, and a positive, team-oriented attitude
Requirements
Must-Have Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology and litigation processes
- Experience providing administrative support in a legal environment
- Proven experience coordinating meetings and travel
- Comfortable troubleshooting basic IT issues
- Proactive, flexible, and willing to step in where needed
Preferred Qualifications
- 5–7 years of experience as a Legal Executive Assistant
- Experience supporting senior attorneys in a fast-paced law firm or professional services environment
