Louisville, Kentucky Salary Range: $50,000 - $65,000 DOE
Molt Legal Partners, has partnered with a top Louisville, Kentucky law firm seeking a highly organized and proactive Legal Assistant / Office Coordinator to support a growing business and transactional practice.
This is a hybrid role combining legal administrative support, transaction coordination, client intake, document management, and office operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in professional environment.
Responsibilities
Manage client intake, matter setup, conflict checks, and engagement workflows
Coordinate client communications, follow-ups, and onboarding processes
Assist with transactional document preparation, proofreading, formatting, and version control
Coordinate DocuSign and closing document workflows
Maintain transaction checklists, deadlines, and status tracking
Support entity formations, UCC filings/searches, and other regulatory filings
Organize diligence materials, data rooms, and document indexes
Prepare invoices and assist with billing and administrative operations
Maintain calendars, scheduling, CRM updates, and office coordination tasks
Provide general operational and administrative support to attorneys and the firm
Qualifications
Prior law firm or professional services experience preferred
Transactional, corporate, business, or real estate law experience strongly preferred
Strong organizational and project management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
Experience with Clio, DocuSign, Microsoft Office, and PDF/document management tools preferred
Professional, detail-oriented, and proactive mindset
