Shift Schedule:

Day Shift: Monday- Friday 7am- 3:30pm (availability to flex when needed for business purposes) 

Description of the Role:Performs the clerical and administrative tasks associated with the shipments and inventory of products including report writing, record keeping, and a variety of other activities to ensure that shipping has support.  

What are we looking for?

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent education
  • 1+ year of manufacturing or warehousing experience 
  • Must have experience with SAP
  • Competency in computer and PC software including MS Office (Outlook) 

Physical Requirements:

  • Standing and walking on a concrete 
  • Wearing proper personal protective equipment (safety shoes, freezer coat/gloves and uniform) 
  • Bending, stooping, twisting, turning, standing or sitting for extended time periods, reaching, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50 lbs 
  • Must be able to adapt to temperature and environmental extremes such as hot to cold, dust dirt and chemicals 
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of inventory control principles 
  • Experience working with vendors and carriers 
  • Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP and WMS systems such as Red Prairie and Blue Yonder
  • 3+ years of manufacturing or warehousing experience 

What will be my Key Responsibilities?

  • Reconcile on-hand finished goods, commodity, and packaging inventories while troubleshooting and correcting various issues, inventory variances, double transactions, etc. 
  • Perform back flushes of daily production and quantities to maintain accuracy  
  • Liaison with departments by providing vital support to ensure all production and shipping needs are met. 
  • Become the shift expert on SAP, WMS, and Excel and train and provide support in the Logistics Department 
  • Willing to learn forklift  
  • Utilizing site inventory practices to perform necessary cycle counts to ensure physical inventory accuracy
