Description

Summary:The Supplier Business Development Manager is responsible for owning assigned supplier(s) strategy, identifying and enabling sales partners to sell supplier(s) technologies, internal sales support, building and maintaining deep supplier relationships, and increasing financial growth for the assigned supplier(s). Maximizing supplier revenue, increase in number of transacting/active partners, and exceeding growth goals will also be a key part of this position. This position is the face of Intelisys to our suppliers and sales partners and expected to be a role model of professionalism.

Essential Job Duties:

Define and drive key business objectives to achieve supplier revenue and growthDevelop and plan for supplier growth and retention strategies to increase share of wallet and relationship with assigned supplier(s)Work closely with supplier(s) to build and execute supplier business and annual marketing plans, in conjunction with supplier program manager (where applicable)Work closely with sales org to ensure alignment with supplier(s) in the fieldSuccessful identification of prospective new and existing dormant partners to drive sales growth and development of partner baseMaintain high profile for assigned supplier(s) to further productive relationshipsPresent Intelisys message to existing partners and prospects through one-on-one engagements, live meetings, or recorded eventsPresent (as requested) to supplier(s) and Intelisys senior leadershipUnderstand the competitive landscape of both the distributor and supplier(s)Conduct quarterly pipeline and business reviews for assigned supplier(s)Monitor pipeline, partner base, and performance to goal for assigned supplier(s)Maintain product and program knowledge of assigned supplier(s) and competitorsAssist with partner and/or supplier escalations as requested by internal teamsRegular attendance is an essential function of this position

Reporting Relationships:

Direct supervision given from Director, Supplier DevelopmentDaily contact with supplier(s) as well as Intelisys sales and management team

Requirements:

4+ years of previous experience in a supplier-focused, sales, or business development roleDeep understanding of distribution channel strategiesStrong communication and presentation skillsSelf-motivated with ability to prioritize, plan, and executeExperience with financial reporting and forecastingProficiency in Microsoft suite including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Preferred:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; preferably in business, marketing, or managementPrior sales or account management experienceSupplier certification(s)CRM (e.g. Salesforce) experience

Physical and Travel Requirements:

Ability to sit a computer terminal for long periods of timeAbility to be physically in attendance at workstation at designated company office location or remote location during normal business hours designated for the positionAbility to travel up to 40% of the timeAbility to lift 20 pounds

Compensation:Base Range : $63,750 - $75,000 and total compensation range: $85,000 - $100,000Actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on a number of variables including work experience, education and skills/ achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.For non-sales roles and sales roles with a variable component, total compensation reflects both a base salary and variable targets.While we're committed to providing top-tier solutions, we're just as committed to supporting our own team.
