    Description

    We are seeking an experienced Information Services Manager (ISM) within Senior Health Technology. This experienced technology leader will lead a high-performing team responsible for capabilities that directly support how consumers and producers purchase our Senior Health products.

    The team's mission is to deliver and maintain secure online application platforms for Senior Health products, including Medicare Supplement, Dental, Vision, and HIP. The team provides secure Storefronts that enable consumers and producers to engage with us and apply for our products.

    The team is responsible for the Consumer Storefront, Producer Storefront, and Stand-Alone Dental application, with a focus on the continued development, enhancement, and support of our electronic application capabilities.

    This team plays an important role in driving sales and improving the experience for both consumers and producers.

    • Estimated Salary (Levels have variable responsibilities and qualifications)

    • Info Services Manager: $167,000 - $174,000, plus annual bonus opportunity

    WHAT YOU'LL DO:

    This leadership role will balance the stability and stewardship of critical existing platforms with continuing to move these capabilities forward. Some of the opportunities ahead include:

    • Delivering new product offerings and capabilities.
    • Partnering closely with UX to continually improve the consumer and producer experience and remain competitive in the marketplace.
    • Expanding and externalizing APIs that enable third parties to sell our products.
    • Continuing to modernize the technology and architecture supporting our Storefronts.
    • Building strong partnerships across business and technology teams.
    • Ensure compliance with SDLC, incident, problem, change, and audit standards while demonstrating effective financial stewardship across labor, vendors, and tooling
    • Apply Organizational Change Management practices to guide teams through transformation and champion Agile and SAFe principles while balancing flexibility with discipline
    • Build strong peer relationships across technology, architecture, and business teams and manage vendors and external partners through effective statements of work, cost controls, and performance metrics

    WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

    • Combines strong people leadership with curiosity, adaptability, and a blend of business and technology acume
    • Comfortable working through ambiguity, bringing together diverse perspectives, and helping teams and stakeholders turn complex problems into clear decisions and actionable next steps
    • Able to think on your feet, ask good questions, build strong partnerships, and adapt your approach as circumstances change
    • Will invest in the people, build on what is already working well, and help the team continue to grow while delivering technology capabilities that have a direct impact on our customers, producers, and sales
    • Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.

    PREFERRED:

    • 5+ years of Information Systems or technology leadership experience, or equivalent combination of leadership and technical experience
    • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent experience
    • Experience leading a team that works across a diverse technology landscape that includes front-end development, MuleSoft APIs, Nuxt, AWS/CDK components, and other cloud technologies
    • Background supporting large-scale operational systems in regulated or complex enterprise environments and formal training in leadership or change management

    This role is classified as remote; however, periodic in-person attendance will be required at times for activities such as quarterly or project planning, training, or other business-critical meetings.
