    A top-tier global benefits and risk consulting firm is looking for an agile Health & Benefits Sales Executive to expand its presence across San Diego and Orange County.

    Based in San Diego with a flexible hybrid schedule, you will focus on self-generating new business opportunities and delivering high-impact employee benefits solutions to mid-market organizations (1,000–5,000 employee lives).

    Key Responsibilities

    • Pipeline Generation: Perform targeted outreach, cold networking, and strategic prospecting to connect with C-suite executives.
    • Consultative Sales Management: Lead complex RFP processes, custom proposal creation, and strategic negotiations to win new mid-market accounts.
    • Client Retention & Growth: Manage key account relationships, ensure top-tier service delivery, and uncover cross-selling potential.
    • Market Networking: Build a strong local presence through regional HR and employee benefits associations, trade shows, and industry networks.

    Must-Have Qualifications

    • Education: Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) is required.
    • Relevant Experience: Solid sales background in Employee Benefits, Health & Benefits consulting, or related commercial coverage/PEO brokerage environments.
    • Mid-Market Focus: Specific experience targeting groups of 1,000 to 5,000 employee lives.
    • Hunting Abilities: Proven track record of cold outreach, prospecting, and converting leads without relying solely on existing broker relationships.
    • C-Suite Access: Comfortable engaging CFOs, VPs of HR, and chief risk officers.
