About the Role
What You'll Do
Photo and video: Shoot photo and video of flight tests, motor firings, factory work, and daily life at the company. Build and maintain the media library.
Brand identity: Create the Furientis visual system and voice, including logo use, typography, color, motion, and photo style.
Films and campaigns: Conceive and produce launch films, recruiting films, and social content from the footage you capture.
Merch and collateral: Art direct merch, patches, posters, and company materials that people actually want to keep.
Creative partners: Hire and direct freelance photographers, editors, designers, and fabricators.
Release coordination: Work with our export compliance and program leads so every public asset is cleared before it goes out.
Skills We're Hiring For
A portfolio demonstrating a distinctive creative perspective and original brand work
6+ years in brand, creative, or communications roles, with senior ownership of a brand's direction
Experience delivering high-quality creative work on fast-paced programs with aggressive schedules and changing priorities
Strong personal skills in photo and video, including shooting and editing your own work
Real experience capturing tests or operations in the field: long days, remote sites, and no second takes
Enough technical curiosity to understand the hardware and earn the trust of engineers
Comfort working within strict release rules without losing creative ambition
Bonus Points For
Experience at hardware, launch, or critical technology startups
Experience capturing launch or missile test campaigns
Motion graphics, 3D, or drone skills
Experience with ITAR or government public-release review
Experience setting editorial strategy and writing website copy, posts, program stories, and recruiting content
Eligibility & Logistics Location: On-site at our Los Angeles, CA HQ; remote work is not available. Monthly weekend travel for test events and supplier engagements. Clearance: A clearance is not required for this position. Must be a U.S. Person.
