Part-Time Government Affairs Administrative Coordinator
 
GCSAA is seeking administrative support for the Government Affairs (G.A.) team assisting with the Grassroot Ambassador Program, GCSAA’s Political Action Committee (PAC), the Government Affairs Committee and G.A.’s two award programs. Will update the G.A. section of the GCSAA website with relevant content and assist with the G.A. Quarterly Briefing webinars. The Administrative Coordinator will support GCSAA’s direct lobbying efforts, notetaking and dictation of internal and external meetings, provide logistical support for the GCSAA Conference and Trade Show and National Golf Day (NGD).
 
Qualified candidates possess:
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an administrative support or customer service role in a professional work environment
  • Superior customer service with a strong focus on responsiveness and professionalism
  • Strong writing and editing skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Project management skills to support internal and external GCSAA constituents
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues, analyze problems and proactively seek solutions
  • Knowledge of political decision-making process and legislative/regulatory processes valued
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel & Outlook)
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe to produce committee meeting notebooks
  • Database management experience preferred
  • Associate’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • Will work Monday – Friday from 8:00am -Noon or 9:00am – 1:00pm, 20 hours a week
