As our Fleet Fuel Sales Representative, you'll drive growth in Maverik's commercial retail fuel business by building strong relationships with fleet customers and delivering tailored fueling solutions that increase sales and customer satisfaction. This role directly impacts Maverik's ability to grow fleet fuel sales, retain commercial customers, and expand market share across our assigned territories.

Location/Schedule

This is a field-based position within the assigned territory of Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Iowa, or eastern Nebraska. The role requires approximately 50-75% travel to customer sites and industry events, with occasional evening, weekend, and holiday work as needed.

What You'll do in this Role

• Develop and implement of Maverik's commercial retail fuel marketing plan to help increase customer base and retention
• Identify "target" companies and initiate contact with the appropriate people within the organization
• Effectively communicate Maverik's market proposition, determine customers' needs, pain points and propose fueling solutions
• Work closely with the internal operations teams to optimize the sales process from the first customer contact and ensure smooth delivery of client services and expectations
• Utilize the industry knowledge to identify internal systems that best support customer pricing, billing, and customer service
• Monitor customer sales and profitability

Duties and responsibilities, as required by business necessity may be added, deleted, or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing. Scheduling and shift assignments and work location may be changed at any time, as required by business necessity.

You'll be a great fit for this adventure if you have:

• 5+ yrs experience in direct sales, account, and/or channel management development
• Experience with Fuel Card sales & services
• Experience with contract negotiation
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Bonus points if you also bring:

• Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent work experience preferred

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range:$90,000-$92,000 + DOE and Bonus Opportunities

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Maverik considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
