    Description

    The Amazon Worldwide (WW) Operations Finance Team is looking for a talented, customer service obsessed, resourceful and self-motivated Executive Assistant to help support two (2) Finance Directors in a fast paced environment. This role requires an in office presence five (5) days a week in our Arlington, VA location.

    You will possess a keen sense of urgency and demonstrate the capacity to execute assignments autonomously with sound judgment. Essential qualities include meticulous attention to detail, ability to respond effectively using exceptional writing and editing proficiency, proven experience in event planning and building mechanisms to create efficiency.

    This role requires a strong sense of ownership, composure under pressure, customer-centric orientation, and consistent adherence to deadlines. You will have superior organizational and tracking abilities, and agility in rapidly shifting priorities.

    Of paramount importance is a high degree of integrity and discretion in managing confidential information, coupled with consummate professionalism when interacting with stakeholders both internally and externally.

    This role demands a strong sense of urgency and the ability to work independently on assignments with sound judgment. The candidate will be a detail oriented, experienced planner with the demonstrated ability to respond effectively and efficiently while maintaining flexibility. The candidate will have a sense of management of oneself and ability to make decisions independently while striving to be customer-service oriented under tight deadlines. Having great organization skills and the ability to switch gears at a moment's notice will ensure success.

    Key job responsibilities

    Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

    • Complex calendar management and scheduling of internal and external meetings
    • Management of domestic and international travel
    • Management of procurement and expenses
    • Management of key team activities (such as staff meeting agendas, all-hands meetings, supply ordering, etc.)
    • Drive and track completion of key deliverables; follow up on overdue items and projects as needed
    • Organize, prioritize and manage time-sensitive, confidential information; ensure any action items are executed
    • Work closely with leadership team and other Executives Assistants to provide support to the organization
    • Management of team space, including moves and reconfiguration
    • Project/program management: Support cyclical operational planning process, business planning, and performance review cycles
