Employment and Litigation CounselAs Employment and Litigation Counsel, you will represent Adecco in state agency wage matters, provide legal support to internal clients, and manage outside litigation counsel on assigned cases. You will work under general direction and report to the Vice President Counsel – Litigation, Labor and Employment, and Government Affairs.ResponsibilitiesInterface with corporate management and provide legal advice, counsel and recommendations on matters including garnishments, anti‑trust, and state wage and hour laws.Manage or assist with managing outside litigation counsel on cases and claims.Interact with agency investigators (e.g., U.S. DOL), handle requests, appear at hearings and negotiate resolutions.Review and recommend new techniques, policies and procedures that enhance productivity, reliability, technical innovation and quality of legal work.Partner with leadership to identify current and future legal support needs.Stay abreast of current litigation, standards and best practices.Prepare memos, policy statements and communications to ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws.Communicate with clients, vendors, government agencies and counsel to obtain or provide information and resolve problems.Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned by the Head of Litigation.Education & ExperienceJuris Doctor (J.D.) and licensure to practice in the assigned state(s).Minimum of three (3) years of domestic employment and labor law experience.Competencies & SkillsExcellent verbal and written communication with all management levels.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.Subject‑matter expertise and counsel to internal stakeholders.Negotiation, litigation and dispute‑resolution skills.Contract negotiation, administration and execution in compliance with corporate guidelines, laws, rules and regulations.Knowledge of federal and state employment‑related laws, rules and regulations.Knowledge of related federal, state and local laws, ordinances, rules and regulations.Process identification, documentation, evaluation and change implementation.Problem identification and resolution.Project management skills for varying nature and scope.Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred).Ability to work remotely with occasional in‑person reporting.Why Join Adecco?We're proud to be a global thought‑leader and commit to building a future @Work strategy across our 30,000+ colleagues in 60+ countries.
