Job Description
Reporting to the Senior Director of Development, the Director of Membership is responsible for leading regular and ongoing membership efforts to provide high touch, scalable, and personalized communication to: 1) KUOW audiences at large through automated email journeys, campaign messages, case management, and membership benefits, and 2) specialized segments such as new donors, mid-level donors ($1,000-$9,999 in annual giving), Sound Legacy Circle members, CARS donors (KUOW’s vehicle donation program), Employee Giving and Matching participants.
The Director of Membership uses data-driven approaches to identify audience segmentation, goals, metrics, customer service, and engagement strategies that deliver donor revenue to KUOW. This role supplements and expands the current Membership Team by providing an audience-focused strategy that delivers incremental revenue, retention, and stewardship gains on a scale that provides real impact to KUOW’s mission. This role is suitable/eligible for hybrid/Occasional Telework.
