Job Details

Key Responsibilities and Duties
Lead client discovery meetings and perform comprehensive site surveys.
Evaluate site access, egress, grade conditions, utilities, venue restrictions, and equipment access routes.
Recommend tenting, flooring, anchoring, and event infrastructure solutions.
Prepare project budgets, schedules, installation plans, and event execution strategies.
Produce or coordinate CAD drawings, layouts, and engineering requirements.
Coordinate permitting, fire code compliance, occupancy requirements, and venue approvals.
Plan labor, trucking, equipment, material staging, and installation sequencing.
Coordinate multiple vendors including staging, AV, HVAC, fencing, flooring, utilities, and venue partners.
Lead installation and strike operations while ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
Manage security clearances and restricted-site access requirements.
Maintain project documentation, change orders, job costing, and post-event reviews.
Identify upsell opportunities within existing accounts.
Develop new business opportunities and competitive bids.
Serve as the technical expert for clients, operations teams, and event stakeholders.
Manage inherited annual accounts and grow the business portfolio over time.

Qualifications Needed:
Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent industry experience considered.
Valid driver's license with safe driving record.
Minimum 5+ years of project management experience involving complex field-based projects.
Experience in tenting and temporary structures, event production, construction project management, staging/rigging, scaffolding/access systems, modular installations, exhibit operations, or related industries.
Strong background in logistics planning, scheduling, vendor management, and onsite operations.
Experience producing or coordinating layouts using CAD, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Vectorworks, SketchUp, or similar tools.
Experience with permitting, engineering coordination, compliance documentation, and safety requirements.
Proven ability to lead crews and vendors through influence without direct authority.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under strict deadlines.
Experience working directly with executive-level clients, producers, venue management, and stakeholders.
Ability to work peak-season schedules including evenings, weekends, and emergency project needs.
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Preferred
Tent rental industry experience.
Clearspan, Losberger, or Roder structure experience.
Fire code and occupancy compliance knowledge.
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
Forklift or lift certifications.
Point of Rental software experience.
Bilingual Spanish.
