Construction Superintendent

This is a full-time, direct-hire position requiring extensive travel to project sites throughout the United States. Must have supervisory experience erecting pre-engineered metal buildings.

We’re hiring a Construction Superintendent. This is a full-time, direct-hire position requiring extensive travel to project sites throughout the United States. Must have supervisory experience erecting pre-engineered metal buildings.

Responsibilities

• Lead mid- to large-sized steel erection crews
• Oversee pre-engineered metal building installation
• Manage jobsite safety, quality, schedules, and budgets
• Conduct weekly safety meetings
• Train and mentor jobsite personnel
• Read and coordinate construction plans
• Work with customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams
• Ensure successful project delivery

Qualifications

5+ years of Superintendent experience with one of the following companies:

• Butler Manufacturing
• Varco Pruden Buildings (VP)
• Nucor Building Systems
• Kirby Building Systems
• Ceco Building Systems
• Metallic Building Systems
• Star Building Systems
• Robertson Building Systems
• CBC Steel Buildings
• BlueScope Buildings North America
• BlueScope
• Cornerstone Building Brands

Additional Qualifications

• OSHA 30 and First Aid certifications
• Aerial Platform and Forklift Operator certifications
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
• Willingness to travel extensively
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
