Communications Officer, E-911Full-Time $18.95 per hour, Non-Certified Effingham County is accepting applications for a full-time Communications Officer in the E-911 Center. This position serves as a critical link between the public, emergency responders, and public safety agencies. Communications Officers receive emergency and non-emergency calls, gather and relay accurate information, dispatch appropriate units, and support law enforcement, fire, EMS, and other response personnel during routine and high-stress situations. This position requires sound judgment, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to remain calm while managing multiple priorities in a busy, hectic, and stressful environment.
