Client Overview:

Our client is a growing organization committed to delivering high-quality services in a supportive, collaborative work environment. They are seeking a Clerical Assistant to support daily office functions, maintain organized operations, and assist internal teams with administrative and clerical tasks.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$20/hr

Position Overview:

The Clerical Assistant ensures accurate data management and provides administrative support for efficient daily office operations. By maintaining records, preparing documentation, and assisting internal teams, the Clerical Assistant streamlines information flow and supports organizational operations.

Responsibilities of the Clerical Assistant:

  • The Clerical Assistant is expected to accurately enter, update, and maintain data across company databases, spreadsheets, and internal systems, reviewing for errors and inconsistencies.
  • Prepare, format, and organize documents, reports, and correspondence, and maintain digital and physical filing systems.
  • Manage incoming emails, calls, and inquiries, routing messages to appropriate team members as needed.
  • The Clerical Assistant will support general office operations by collaborating with team members, streamlining workflows, and completing tasks such as scanning, copying, mailing, and ordering supplies.

Required Experience/Skills for the Clerical Assistant:

  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and/or Google Workspace to complete daily clerical tasks.
  • The Clerical Assistant needs to have the ability to quickly learn and navigate new office software, databases, and internal systems.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced office environment.
  • The Clerical Assistant needs to have clear and professional verbal and written communication skills for interacting with colleagues and handling correspondence.
  • Prior experience working in clerical and administrative support, including document management, scheduling, and general office assistance.

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
