Job Summary:

As a Student Assistant for the College of Arts, Sciences, and Education (CASE), you will support office operations, assist faculty and staff with administrative tasks, manage inventory and supplies, and help maintain an organized and professional office environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Mail Responsibilities

  • Sort department mail and notify faculty and adjuncts of packages.
  • Prepare and deliver outgoing mail to the Mail Center.

Administrative Tasks

  • Maintain and update the office directory with current staff and faculty information.
  • Complete various Excel tasks and projects.
  • Assist faculty with completing tasks and projects as needed.
  • Create flyers for department events and post them on digital signage to promote engagement and participation.

Inventory Management

  • Track, organize, and report supply status for main CASE areas.
  • Updating lab inventory
  • Assist with restocking supplies and communicating any low inventory to supervisors.

Printer Management

  • Refill printer paper to ensure continuous availability.
  • Monitor printer supplies and report any maintenance or supply issues

Communication

  • Provide timely updates and communication with supervisors.

Position Pay: $15/hr

Hours per week: 10 hrs

Start Date: 08/24/2026

End Date: 05/30/2027
