About the Opportunity
LHH is seeking a Legal Billing Specialist for a temporary or temp-to-hire opportunity with a respected law firm in Illinois. This position offers the opportunity to join a collaborative legal team while utilizing your billing expertise in a fast-paced professional environment.
Responsibilities
Generate and process attorney billing
Review invoices for accuracy and completeness
Coordinate billing revisions and approvals
Manage electronic billing submissions
Support collections and accounts receivable efforts
Assist with client intake and conflict checks
Prepare engagement letters and supporting documentation
Maintain accurate financial and client records
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of legal billing experience
Experience working within a law firm preferred
Strong organizational and time-management skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Proficient in Microsoft Office and billing software
