Billing Specialist
our client is a top law firm in Chicago, who is looking to bring on a billing specialist.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
· timely and accurate processing of client billing
· Maintains high level of service to internal and external clients while answering billing questions
· Distributes billing proformas through our paperless system and ensures that all proformas are submitted to the Billing Department.
· Processes invoices using e-billing systems, while maintaining e-billing database.
· Audits e-billing systems to match Elite 3E system.
· Manages billing book on client special requests, billing guidelines, attorneys’ requests, etc.
· Provides instruction on billing procedures
Qualifications:
· Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
· Advanced knowledge of fees and cost billing principles in a computerized environment.
· Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel.
· 2 + years experience in legal billing
· Strong attention to detail.
· Must respect confidentiality of client and firm records.
· Must possess a high degree of confidence and professional maturity and demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
