Responsibilities
- Spread joy while you prepare and serve various coffee beverages, including espresso, drip coffee, and specialty drinks.
- Provide enthusiastic customer service, taking orders and guiding guests through our menu offerings.
- Engage with customers to make them feel appreciated, create a welcoming atmosphere, and answer any questions about our products.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee preparation areas and dining spaces.
- Assist in cheerfully training new baristas on drink preparation and customer service best practices.
- Stay informed about coffee trends, brewing techniques, and menu innovations.
- Collaborate with team members and multitask effectively to ensure smooth cafe operations during busy times.
Qualifications
- Exceptional customer service skills with a highly personable, happy, and friendly demeanor.
- 1 year of required experience as a barista in a specialty coffee shop or cafe.
- Ability to effortlessly multitask, work efficiently, and maintain a great attitude in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, able to excitedly articulate coffee knowledge to customers.
- Experience with point-of-sale systems and cash handling.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
