You'll begin by supporting daily administrative and customer service functions while learning how our sales, order management, accounting, inventory, warehousing, and distribution processes work together.As you gain experience and demonstrate your ability to take ownership, the role will grow to include increasing responsibility for operational processes, reporting, problem-solving, and process improvement.This is a great opportunity for someone who wants more than a traditional administrative position and is interested in building a long-term career in Operations, Supply Chain, or Business Administration.What You'll DoAdministrative & Customer SupportSupport daily office operations and administrative functionsProvide exceptional customer service by phone and emailProcess customer orders, documentation, and correspondenceMaintain accurate records, reports, and filing systemsCoordinate schedules, meetings, and company communicationsAssist with payment processing, invoicing support, and administrative accounting tasksLearn & Support OperationsWork closely with Sales, Operations, Accounting, Warehousing, and LeadershipLearn and support order fulfillment and operational processesAssist with inventory, shipping, purchasing, and distribution-related activitiesMonitor order and customer information for accuracyPrepare and maintain operational reportsHelp identify issues and follow through on solutionsSupport cross-functional projects and process improvementsGrow Into OperationsAs you develop within the role, you will have opportunities to take on greater responsibility, including:Managing and improving operational processesAnalyzing data and identifying trends or inefficienciesCoordinating activities between departmentsTaking ownership of specific operational functionsSupporting inventory and distribution initiativesDeveloping and maintaining operational reports and proceduresParticipating in projects designed to improve efficiency and customer serviceThe goal is for this position to grow beyond administrative responsibilities into a broader Operations role based on performance, initiative, and business needs.What We're Looking ForRequired QualificationsAssociate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred2+ years of administrative, office support, customer service, or operations experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detailAbility to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentStrong problem-solving and critical-thinking skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and WordWillingness to learn different areas of the business and take on increasing responsibilityPreferred QualificationsExperience with ERP, CRM, or order management systemsExperience supporting accounting functions such as payments, invoicing, or reconciliationsExperience in manufacturing, distribution, logistics, supply chain, or other B2B industriesInterest in developing a career in Operations, Supply Chain, or Business AdministrationExperience working with reports, data, or process improvementWhy Join United Bags?We know our people are our greatest asset.
