Winter Pediatric Therapy Center has been serving children of the greater Houston and surrounding areas for over 25years! We are looking for a Receptionist to manage our front desk on a daily basis and to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. One who will thrive in a fast-paced clinic environment.
Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
· Answer and direct phone calls in a professional manner, and routing calls as necessary.
· Check in patients
· Maintain Referral list up to date
· Communicate effectively with referring physician staff
· Registers new patients and updates existing patient demographics by collecting detailed patient information
· Schedule appointments
· Verify patient eligibility and benefits
· Request prior authorizations
· Welcome visitors in a warm and friendly manner
· Maintain reception area and all common areas in a clean and tidy
· Operate standard office equipment on a regular basis, including a fax machine, a copy machine, and a computer
· Receive deliveries; sort and distribute incoming mail
· Monitor and maintain office supplies; request restocking when necessary
· Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical
Bilingual (Spanish/English) is preferred.
