The Alaska Department of Fish and Game, Division of Administrative Services is recruiting
for an Administrative Officer 1 located in Anchorage, Alaska!
What you will be doing:
As the lead administrative professional within Administrative Services, you will serve as the primary liaison between our division and other divisions within the Department. In this role, you will take ownership of a broad range of technical and professional administrative functions, including fiscal management, budget monitoring, recruitment support, and facility oversight.
You will also play a key role in ensuring the division meets federal and state administrative requirements. This position contributes to program-wide consistency and efficiency by developing, updating, and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that support smooth and effective operations.

This position is located at the Fish and Game building in Anchorage. Fully remote work is not an option; however, a hybrid telework schedule may be an option once probation is complete.

Minimum Qualifications
Any combination of education and/or experience that provides the applicant with competencies in
Equivalent to those typically gained by:
Any combination of preparatory post-secondary education and/or experience providing administrative support to a business or organization, business administration, public administration, finance, banking, accounting, industrial relations, marketing, human resource management, logistics and supply chain management, or a similar business field.
