Administrative Coordinator - Clinical Operations (CSAC Preferred)

Join our dynamic team as an Administrative Coordinator supporting Clinical Operations at a client in Richmond, Virginia. This vital role ensures seamless administrative and compliance functions across our ASAM 2.1, 2.5, and 3.1 programs, enabling clinical staff to focus on delivering exceptional client care. In this role, you will provide essential operational support, manage documentation workflows, coordinate meetings, and assist with compliance tracking. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our behavioral health services, making a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients and their families.

Required Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in human services, psychology, social work, or related field
  • 1-2 years of administrative or compliance-focused experience, preferably in behavioral health or ASAM-based programs
  • Proficiency with EHR/EMR systems, Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of DBHDS, Medicaid, and clinical documentation standards
  • Familiarity with HIPAA, confidentiality protocols, and insurance authorization processes
  • CSAC certification required; CPR, First Aid, and Behavior Management training necessary

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with CHRIS reporting and incident management
  • Knowledge of 12VAC35-105 regulations
  • Advanced problem-solving skills and troubleshooting documentation gaps
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in behavioral health administration or compliance
  • CSAC certification is preferred

Other Requirements:
  • Valid CSAC certification
  • Successful completion of criminal history and central registry background checks
  • Availability for at least 40 hours of annual training
  • Ability to work days, Monday through Friday

Compensation includes an hourly pay rate of $30.75.
