    The Administrative Support Specialist is responsible for providing administrative assistance and accurate data entry services to ensure the smooth operation of our organization. This role requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision.

    Responsibilities:

    • Accurately input data into databases, spreadsheets, and other digital platforms.
    • Verify data for accuracy and completeness.
    • Maintain confidentiality and security of all data entered.
    • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, photocopying, and organizing documents.
    • Respond to inquiries via phone, email, or in-person, directing them to the appropriate personnel.
    • Update and maintain records, files, and databases.
    • Ensure records are organized and easily accessible.
    • Assist with record retrieval and archiving as required.
    • Collaborate with team members and other departments to exchange information and support ongoing projects.
    • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Compile data and generate reports as requested by management.
    • Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines and objectives are achieved.
    • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
    • Address inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
    • Serve as a point of contact for clients, vendors, and partners, directing them to the appropriate personnel as needed.
    • Identify and resolve data entry issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
    • Troubleshoot technical problems related to data entry systems or software.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or GED required.
    • Proven experience in data entry and administrative support roles.
    • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel, Word, and Outlook) and data entry software.
    • Excellent typing skills with a high degree of accuracy and speed.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Familiarity with office equipment such as scanners, printers, and photocopiers.
    • Discretion and confidentiality when managing sensitive information.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • More than 3 years' experience with office equipment such as printers, copiers, and fax machines.
    • More than 3 years' experience in data entry or administrative support roles.
    • Familiarity with CRM tools and software.
    • Previous construction industry experience.

    WORK LOCATION

    Onsite - In order to fulfill responsibilities of the Administrative Support Specialist position, this job is required to work in a specific Construction Resources manufacturing, production, or office environment.

    Onsite - An associate in an onsite role works in a specific Home Depot location in order to complete their job duties.

    Multisite - An associate in a multisite role works from multiple locations (e.g. Home Depot location or a customer's homes) to complete their job duties.

    Hybrid - A hybrid role blends in-office and remote/virtual work locations. An associate will work from a designated Home Depot location on some days and remote/virtually on others.

    Remote/virtual - An associate in a remote/virtual role does not have to be at a designated Home Depot location to complete their job duties.
