Receptionist / Administrative Assistant
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and organized Receptionist / Administrative Assistant to be the first point of contact for our main office. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, has strong communication skills, and can keep a busy office running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Answer and direct incoming calls and take accurate messages
- Greet clients, visitors, and guests in a professional and welcoming manner
- Assist callers and walk-in clients with general information and referrals
- Provide administrative support including typing, correspondence, filing, and data entry
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail
- Order office supplies and maintain an organized supply area
- Accept and distribute office deliveries
- Assist with check requests, tenant leases, and facilities-related paperwork
- Coordinate with building maintenance and outside vendors as needed
- Support management and other departments with administrative projects and daily office needs
Qualifications
- 3+ years of receptionist, administrative, or office support experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in a social services or nonprofit environment is a plus
- Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
- Professional, friendly, patient, and dependable
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a busy office environment
- Comfortable working with and assisting people from a variety of backgrounds
