- Under general supervision, is responsible for handling a wide range of support related tasks, requiring interaction with both internal and external stakeholders, which support the achievement of organizational effectiveness for day-to-day operations and organizational processes for the Special Services Department.
- Organizes and manages the department's routine functions to meet the objectives of the department and district while serving as administrative assistant to the directors of special services
- Provides work direction for support staff
- Performs administrative duties including maintaining a filing system, processing routine correspondence, typing documents and correspondence, and signing routine correspondences as needed
- Receives telephone calls, personally handles matters of a diverse and confidential nature including answering substantive questions
- Maintains confidentiality of information contained in source documents
- Maintains daily attendance and payroll as needed
- Prepares/processes documents including the following: service agreements, contracts, travel forms, payroll corrections, and maintenance/IT tickets
- Enters and processes requisitions as needed
- Performs all other tasks and duties as assigned
- Engage in on site collaboration/interaction with department leadership, team members, customers, and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and coordination across all organizational levels

- High School Diploma or GED
- Three years directly related administrative experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills with software applications, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office Professional, Oracle, Google Drive, and other database systems
- Ability to successfully complete assignments with limited supervision demonstrates task oriented self-starter with the ability to perform with a high degree of accuracy
- Demonstrated strong skills in record keeping and highly detailed oriented, excellent organizational, communication, customer service, interpersonal skills, possesses the ability to coordinate multiple projects and assignments; high degree of flexibility required
