Responsibilities

Drees Homes, one of the largest privately-owned homebuilders in the nation, is seeking candidates for an Administrative Assistant position in our Drees Elevate Division.  In this position, you will be responsible for timely and accurately processing all paperwork and information related to sales.  This position will also provide administrtive support to Elevate General Manager as necessary. 
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and update monthly and weekly sales, and starts reports.
  • Attend and participate in all starts meetings and follow-up on any outstanding documents.
  • Assist in gathering documentation and verifying requirements for permitting and HOA applications. Assist in processing, submitting and tracking these applications.
  • Coordinate with our customers’ loan departments to prepare documents for construction loan closings and draw requests. 
  • Collect and log all earnest money checks and any money for options and lot deposits; order and track construction loan draw requests.
  • Assist the Market Manager by printing price sheets, community information sheets, inventory sheets, and plat maps from My Marketing Templates and DreamBuilder.
  • Participate in any marketing projects such as Realtor/community events, mailings, telephoning, addressing, researching, etc.
  • Schedule closings and gather closing gifts.
  • Forward all pertinent information to Architecture for drafting purposes.  Act as liaison between Market Manager and Operations.
  • Monitor all change order requests, including standard priced and special priced items.
  • Audit files and produce final bills to be released to the Closing Department. 
  • Other duties as assigned by the Elevate General Manager.
 
Requirements, Knowledge, and Skills:
  • Experience working in residential loan processing, title work, and/or permitting
  • Strong technical skills including Excel, Word, and PDF editors
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational and follow up skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • High school diploma required, college degree is a plus!
