The Panther Group is seeking a highly organized and proactive Administrative Assistant & Analyst to support the Office of the CIO for a leading university in Boston, MA. This is a high-visibility, career-building opportunity that combines executive support, operations, and analytical responsibilities within a fast-paced IT organization.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex environments, can work independently with minimal supervision, and is eager to gain exposure to enterprise IT operations, vendor management, and leadership support.
What You’ll DoExecutive & Administrative Support (50%)
  • Manage calendars, meetings, travel, and communications for senior IT leadership
  • Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain organized records, documentation, and filing systems
  • Support purchasing, expense tracking, and onboarding/offboarding processes
Executive Operations Support (20%)
  • Prepare meeting agendas, materials, and track action items
  • Coordinate follow-ups on strategic initiatives and leadership priorities
  • Facilitate communication across departments and stakeholders
Event Coordination (20%)
  • Plan and execute internal events, meetings, and team activities
  • Manage logistics including scheduling, vendors, and communications
Contract & Vendor Support (10%)
  • Assist with contract tracking, documentation, and renewals
  • Support vendor coordination and procurement processes
  • Help maintain contract databases and reporting
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of administrative or operations experience
  • Experience working in fast-paced or complex environments
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and professionalism
  • Proficiency with tools like Microsoft 365, Teams, Slack, Zoom
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
