Our client, a growing startup, is seeking an Administration Specialist (Auto) to join their team on a temp-to-hire basis. They offer a great office culture, room for growth, and cross-training opportunities.

Salary/Hourly Rate:
$22/hr

Position Overview:
The Administration Specialist (Auto) is responsible for managing the end-to-end vehicle title process for the auto lending portfolio. This role ensures accurate, compliant, and timely handling of titles and related documentation across multiple states, working closely with borrowers, dealerships, DMVs, and internal teams to support a seamless post-funding experience.

Responsibilities of the Administration Specialist (Auto):
  • Coordinate and process vehicle titles for auto loans, including new, used, lease buyouts, and refinances.
  • Review and validate title documentation (MSOs, title applications, lien perfection documents, power of attorney forms, etc.) for accuracy and completeness.
  • Submit and track title and lien filings with DMVs and other state agencies, ensuring compliance with state-specific regulations and timelines.
  • Monitor and resolve title exceptions, such as missing documents, incorrect VINs, lien errors, and registration discrepancies.
  • Communicate with borrowers, dealerships, lenders, and internal stakeholders to obtain required information and resolve title-related issues.
  • Maintain detailed records in internal systems, updating title status, notes, and documentation promptly and accurately.
  • Support the release of liens and title transfers upon loan payoff, ensuring proper documentation and customer communication.
  • Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, and Operations teams to ensure adherence to all applicable laws, policies, and procedures.
  • Identify process gaps and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including documentation updates and workflow enhancements.
  • Assist with audits, reporting, and special projects related to title operations as needed.
Required Experience/Skills for the Administration Specialist (Auto):
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling legal and financial documents.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
  • Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to handle sensitive situations and escalations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace and comfort working in CRM and loan servicing systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Administration Specialist (Auto):
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in auto title administration, auto finance, dealership title work, or a related field.
Education Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
