li>Must have knowledge of Navy organizations including: Naval Sea Systems (NAVSEA) Command, Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR), Naval shipyards, Regional Maintenance Centers, and Type Commanders (TYCOMs), shipyard operations, ship systems and particularly how they interact and construction/repair sequencing; principles and practice of managing large numbers of employees; budgeting and financial statements; process improvements and business development processes.
Tracks financial progress and status of program and projects and develops and coordinates corrective actions/adjustments working with and mentoring Project Managers to ensure completion of projects meeting all quality, technical, schedule and profit goals while meeting all technical, quality, schedule and costs requirements.
