Responsibilities & Duties: • general plant labor and clean-up of production areas • observe, monitor, and report any conditions that could lead to product nonconformity or other irregularity • being trained in various entry-level production positions and fills in as needed during vacation, absences, and increased production demands • report equipment problems identified to management, complete equipment pre-shift report, if applicable • clean work areas, shovel stone from around conveyors, maintain facilities • operate mobile equipment (including 150-200-ton haul trucks) • replace or assist other workers as needed or directed, and other duties as assigned by management. While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts; in high, precarious places; in outside weather conditions; and with explosives and is frequently exposed to wet and or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, petroleum products, toxic or caustic chemicals, petroleum products, extreme cold, extreme heat, risk of electrical shock, risk of radiation, and vibration.
