The team consists of a close-knit group of NNPs and Neonatologists supported by a dedicated staff of RNs, RTs, occupational and physicial therapists, social workers, and breastfeeding specialists, each trained specifically to work with infants in the NICU. Northwest Children's is a part of Northwest Texas Healthcare System, a tertiary care academic institution providing high quality medical care to the 500,000+ residents of the 26-county Texas Panhandle and surrounding areas in New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Kansas.
