p>Education & Experience: + Associate or bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Optics, Business, Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience considered + 7+ years of experience in manufacturing within a technical or precision production environment + 3–5+ years of experience leading technicians, operators, or production teams + Experience working in a manufacturing environment required + Experience working in a cleanroom or controlled manufacturing environment preferred + Experience supporting optical manufacturing, optical assembly, inspection, metrology, or related precision manufacturing processes preferred + Experience supporting process improvements, shop floor execution, and continuous improvement initiatives + Experience supporting new product introduction (NPI) or production readiness activities preferred + Experience working in a high-volume, high-mix manufacturing environment preferred .
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
+ Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, production flow, and quality requirements + Strong leadership, coaching, employee development, and performance management skills + Ability to prioritize work, allocate resources, and drive accountability + Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a manufacturing environment + Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation + Working knowledge of cleanroom practices and contamination control + Experience with precision inspection, measurement techniques, and manufacturing equipment + Working knowledge of ERP systems; JD Edwards (JDE) experience preferred + Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills + Ability to manage multiple priorities and make decisions in a fast-paced environment + Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and manufacturing systems + Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments .
