Key Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and resolve wired and wireless network issues Manage help desk tickets, network account onboarding/offboarding, and infrastructure incidents Participate in on-call rotation every 3 weeks for critical network outages (Level 1 & Level 2 support) Assist with network rollouts, upgrades, cleanups, and infrastructure improvement projects Support Microsoft administration tasks including Entra ID (Azure AD), Microsoft 365, Group Policy, and user provisioning Perform basic Windows Server administration, monitoring, patching, and maintenance Maintain network documentation and asset inventory Travel Requirement: Travel within the state as needed (no overnight travel unless scheduled in advance) Required Skills & Experience: 10+ years of experience troubleshooting wired and wireless networks 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and Windows Server environments 5+ years of customer service experience Strong hands-on networking and problem-solving skills Preferred Skills: Experience with wiring closets and Ruckus switches Familiarity with Deskpro ticketing system Experience with Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience Additional Requirements: Comfortable working independently and in a team Strong communication and documentation skills Job Title: Network Technician (Network Support Specialist) Location: Columbia, SC 29201 (Onsite) Job Type: Contract Overview: We are seeking an experienced Network Support Specialist to support and maintain enterprise network infrastructure and Microsoft 365 environments across critical sites.
