Job Requirements: Graduate of a 2-4 year AMA approved Respiratory Program [Ohio, United States] Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner for the State of OhioRRT Credentials issued by the National Board of Respiratory CareCurrent BLS with ACLS, PAL or NRP for respective area Acute/critical care knowledge as it relates to cardiopulmonary disease states Ability to precept acute/critical care areasSupervisory capabilities 1 Year RRT experience required. Responsibilities include assessing patients, performing diagnostic tests to determine the underlying causes and extent of illness or injury, operating therapeutic gas administration equipment, administering medication therapy as prescribed, managing mechanical ventilators, assessing and developing a plan of care utilizing approved therapist driven protocols and providing emergency care during medical emergencies.
