Qualifications • BS Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent); Master degree preferred • 5+ years experience in automotive electrical systems • Understanding of GPDS deliverables and basic Client engineering tools (FEDE BOM / WERS / Bill of Material / AIMS / JIRA / 5/8Ds / FEDE DVP / Engineering Sign Off / DFMEA / Six Sigma) • Experience launching new vehicles • Ability to handle complex tasks and complicated situations under compressed timing • Outstanding planning, organizational and project management skills with accurate follow-up to accomplish multiple objectives • Strong One Client Leadership Behaviors with proven ability to drive and deliver results • Effective written and oral presentation skills • Ability to build strong effective relationships with multi-functional teams (Program, Studio, Purchasing, Core Body Engineering, VE, VI, VO) • Passion for performance vehicles is desirable • Experience with CAN tools, Module Software flashing, CAN network troubleshooting, Bus Queries, CAN log and data collection, Diagnostic Engineering Tool, MyCanic, Data Logger, Vehicle configuration (VSCS).
