PROJECT MANAGER - Pipeline Construction State Utility Contractors IncPROJECT MANAGER - Pipeline ConstructionMonroe, NCThis will include quantity takeoffs, develop pricing, communicating with subcontractors and suppliers to receive project quotes, and assemble detailed estimates for pipelines and pump stations • Develop project strategy, preconstruction planning, and scheduling efforts • Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors to develop purchase orders and subcontracts for the project • Complete all project specific submittal requirements from receipt from suppliers/subcontractors to final owner approval • Coordinate and communicate with the project Superintendent to ensure all manpower, equipment, materials, subcontractors, are ready and available when needed to meet project schedule • Continuously monitor project cost (labor, material, subcontracts, equipment) and track production, provide feedback to management team, update schedules • Communicate with other team members to remove any obstacles that arise during construction • Ability to conduct meetings with owners and engineers and discuss project specifics. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil/Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related discipline Estimating experience in heavy civil, water/wastewater, or related self-perform construction preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project and Outlook) Strong analytical, plan-reading, and takeoff skills with a passion for learning complex water and wastewater systems A collaborative mindset with the desire to grow into a lead project manager role.
