The PNY projects originate from the Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act (CLCPA) which stems from New York State’s Climate Act with a goal to reduce economy-wide greenhouse gas emissions 40% by 2030 (no less than 85% of 1990 levels by 2050) and 70% State’s Energy from renewable resources by 2030 (100% from zero emissions Electric Sources by 2040).
