Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of a bachelor’s degree and three years of experience in public health administration, social work, nursing, guidance and counseling, or a closely related field, or working with children or adults in a treatment residential facility, or school setting for disabled individuals, including two years in a supervisory capacity; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of the qualifying experience for each year of the required education. Positions in this job family are assigned responsibilities involving the planning, development, direction and implementation of programs for the education, treatment, training, care, custody, social rehabilitation or development of youths or adults in a state school, children’s center, institution or facility, or for the quality assurance programs for an institution or agency providing health care and related services.
