QUALIFICATIONS: · Experience in pharmacy or healthcare setting · Proficient in use of Windows-based computer programs and Microsoft Office programs · Ability to handle multiple tasks in a professional, organized, and friendly manner · Excellent communication skills · Proving basic quantitative abilities · Possess excellent written and verbal skills and ability to communicate effectively across all levels of audience including the ability to translate clinical information into a manner appropriate for clinical and non-clinical audiences · Detail-oriented, accurately follow established procedures for completing work, and ensure high-quality results to include initiating action to correct quality problems · Effectively manage one's time, stay focused, ensure performance objectives and deadlines are met · Effectively and proactively meet customers' needs, excellent interpersonal relationship skills, and take responsibility for customer satisfaction · Plan, organize, and prioritize work activities to meet business needs · Physical Demands including: • Exposure to a normal office environment • Lift, carry, and/or push/pull various items (bags, boxes, carts, etc.) while using proper technique • Lift up to 35 pounds from floor to chest level and lift and carry up to 35 pounds at waist height a reasonable distance • Stand up a majority of workday (8-10 hours) or for long periods of time depending on the needs of the pharmacy operation • Operate all equipment necessary to do the job. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D Degree from an accredited educational institution • An active, valid pharmacist license that is in good standing with no restrictions in NC • Certified Immunizer • At least one year pharmacy experience in a retail setting including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems and insurance • Experience performing prescription dispensing activities and strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws • Excellent communication skills • Customer Service Skills.
