The Research Scientist Staff (RSS) serves as a statewide scientific and clinical authority, directing complex and sensitive research and clinical activities; developing and implementing statewide analytic and scientific protocols; supporting outbreak investigations and surveillance activities; and delivering high-impact scientific guidance to partners.
