This role supports enhanced supply chain readiness and sustainment for operations in dynamic, expeditionary environments while working closely with logistics planners, program managers, and commercial vendors to ensure timely supply delivery, inventory management, and compliance with government property regulations. + Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
Primary area of focus will be targeting the Highs School and Middle school populations and ensuring a comprehensive Substance abuse prevention and life skills training program is implemented effectively and in coordination with a range of community providers to include school counselors, principals, MFLCs and appropriate Behavioral Health Resources within the Marine Corps Community on Okinawa. Independently ensures program operation to develop and revise guidelines and training materials and model operating procedures for use; implement program plans and proposals to meet program requirements, and provide program support to improve and sustain the capabilities of commanders, Marines, and family members to prevent problems that detract from unit performance and readiness, and aid in coping successfully with the Marine Corps lifestyle.
