p>Required skills: Knowledge of proper operation and maintenance of floor care and custodial equipment including but not limited to: wringers, buffers, vacuums burnishes, extractors and polishers; various types of floor systems and care and maintenance of each, including but not limited to: VCT, ceramic tile, carpet, concrete and wood; safe use of chemicals used in floor care and custodial departments. Must maintain detailed files and records; have skill and knowledge to supervise, motivate and train employees; able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing with all groups they may come in contact with through the course of business, including crews.
