Essential DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Obtain and perform in-depth due diligence including but not limited to reviews of rent rolls, financial statements, tax returns, third party reports (appraisals, engineering and environmental), insurance policies/documents, property related contracts, leases, flood determinations, zoning, bank account analysis, aged receivables, personal financial statements & other pertain information to assess potential risks and the propertyās ability to generate sufficient operating income to pay debt service; Complete thorough cash flow analysis and ratio analysis as well as commercial loan structuring and documentation for accuracy, completeness and adherence to approved underwriting and closing conditions; Prepare written documentation (Investment Committee Memo, ASR) of loan terms, conditions and narratives explaining the loan request, Sponsorās business background, loan risks and mitigating factors and ensuring conformity to BAMās credit policies and procedures; Work closely with various BAM departments including Real Estate Valuation and CRE asset management teams ensuring compliance with BAMās credit policies and procedures; Perform site inspections; Participate in coordinating responds to B-piece buyerās, rating agenciesā and other investorsā inquiries; Exercise exemplary corporate citizenship including strict adherence to compliance requirements and Bayviewās tenets; Other duties as needed or required. The Senior Associate will have the opportunity to work with multiple debt products: bridge/transitional, CMBS, construction and mezzanine solutions for all commercial real estate classes, in addition to working on other structured real estate financing transactions.
