Duties and responsibilities may include and not be limited to: • Clinical Duties: Assist with performing patient assessments, interviewing patients about current health problems, medication history • Taking vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, respiration, and weight • Documenting medical history including medications, treatment and medical conditions • Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) skills including bathing, dressing, feeding and mobility • Providing basic wound care, basic laboratory tests, basic patient education and instructions • Observing and reporting changes in patients' physical or mental health to nurses.
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) Current Certification as Certified Nursing Assistant in AZ Be able to obtain BLS CPR Certification (AHA preferred) Ability to interact effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds, including those with mental health or substance abuse issues Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information and integrity, professionalism and ability to adhere to a Code of Conduct and comply with all facility(s) correctional healthcare policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
