p>Required to visually concentrate on detail and be precise; experiences frequent interruptions; may be required to work outdoors in inclement weather; required to deal with and defuse, if appropriate, difficult and sensitive situations and/or people; may be exposed to infectious diseases; travels to District sites; may walk, run, bend, and squat to attend to ill or injured children; lifts, carries, and positions ill and injured children; may be required to lift and carry up to 20 pounds, bend, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, walk, twist, climb, and/or be mobile. LPN license is required; successful completion of a two-year accredited program for LPN, required; associates degree in nursing from an accredited college/university or registered nurse license is preferred; one year pediatric, community health nursing, health education, required or school based nursing experience, preferred; or any combination of experience and training which provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and ability required to perform the work.
